Weston Township (2 March 1961)
Mrs. Robert Schlinkert entertained at a quilting party last Thursday. Attending were Mrs. Margaret Roderick, Mrs. Paul Klauer, Mrs. Ted Mitte, Mrs. Herman Dux, Mrs. Frederick Grap, Mrs. William Hoffmann and Mrs. Martha Hoffmann.
Gerge Nielsen received a telephone call Saturday stating that his sister-in-law, Mrs. Martha Nielsen, had suffered a stroke at her home in Wausau and was in a coma in a hospital there.
Mr. and Mrs. Bert Schultz and Mrs. Herman Schultz visited Mrs. Walter Amidon in the hospital in Black River Falls last weekend. Mrs. Amidon, a former resident of Neillsville, had been making her home in Merrillan.
