Vogelin, Mrs. William (1895 - 26 February 1961)
Mrs. Wm. Vogelin, 66, nee Emma Funk, formerly of Withee, died at her home in Minneapolis, Minn., February 26. Mrs. Vogelin died of cancer. Burial was made in Minneapolis March 1.
She was born in the Town of Hixon in 1895, and lived there until after her marriage to Wm. Vogelin, later moving to Osseo, Minn., and still later to Minneapolis.
When a young woman, she taught in the public schools and also taught piano at one time.
Two daughters were born: Mrs. Harold (Florence) Falk of Idaho Falls, Colo.; and Mrs. Vernon (Merriam) Erickson of Hopkins, Minn., whom, together with one grandchild, survive. She also has two brothers, George Funk of Withee and Edmund Funk of Appleton; and three sisters: Mrs. Lawrence (Ida) Munson of Withee, Miss Terresa Funk of Appleton and Mrs. Anna Davidson of Applton, whom, together with her husband, William Vogelin, also survive.
Mrs. Vogelin is well known in the vicinity, having lived here for
many years.
