Paul, Rudolph #2 (6 FEB 1900 - 9 AUG 1962)
Funeral services for Rudolph Paul, 62, of route 1, Abbotsford, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Milan with the Rev. F. H. Sprengler of Dorchester officiating.
Burial was made in the church cemetery.
Mr. Paul died Thursday at the home of his nephew, Eldred Empey.
He was born in Taylor County Feb. 6, 1900 and was married to the former Rose Brunner in Medford, June 24, 1924. The young couple lived in Milwaukee for two years and then purchased a farm in the town of Holton. He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Reuben (Verna) Dake, Milwaukee; Mrs. David (Elaine) Noonan, Wausau; and Mrs. Leon (Joyce) Reckner, Stratford; a son, Donald Paul, at home; nine grandchildren; three brothers, Edgar Henry and Albert Paul, Dorchester, and four sisters, Mrs. George Empey, Abbotsford, Mrs. Edward Brechlin, Dorchester; Mrs. Walter Brunner, Dorchester and Mrs. Gust Brechlin, Abbotsford.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
