Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Larson, Billy, Judy and Patty, of Pittsville, visited Sunday in the Chester Baily home.  Mr. and Mrs. Dale Struensee and children of Neillsville were supper guests there.


Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Lueth and little son accompanied her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Beard of Westboro, to Illinois Friday to attend the golden wedding anniversary of Mrs. Lueth’s grandparents.

 

Mrs. Lottie Flynn spent from Wednesday until Sunday of last week with her daughter, Mrs. Madge Clem, and her boys in Baraboo.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Sagstetter and children of St. Paul came last Friday to spend until Sunday with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Kirby. Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Senske and Jeff of St. Paul came for the weekend, and Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Dick Trachsel and children came to spend the day.

 

Bert Hanby and cousin, Mrs. Mary Dagnon of Merrillan, visited Thursday afternoon in the Will Ringrose home.

 

The Heart fund chairman and helper have completed the drive and a report will be given next week.

 

Dale Dignin of Neillsville Saturday called on Mr. and Mrs. Cullen Dignin.

 

Mrs. Harold Bissell of Springfield, Ore., and Mr. and Mrs. Willard Stanley were supper guests Thursday in the Hugh Terrell home.

 

Nordahl Fristad and Mr. and Mrs. B. Bohac of Rt. 1 Merrillan were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Jean Bishop.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Will Theiler and Mr. and Mrs. John Greub were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Duerkop Sunday evening in honor of the Duerkops wedding anniversary.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Squires spent from Saturday until Wednesday visiting their children in Lake Delton and Poynette.

 

Mrs. Raymond Stuve and Mrs. Matie Smith drove to Sparta last Sunday to visit Mrs. Leone Pettigrew.  She is now able to walk about.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Williams left Friday for Canton, Ill., to visit an uncle who is quite sick.  Mrs. Williams is the former Verna Barr.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Howard Pierce and Mark of Black River Falls called Sunday evening at the Will Theiler home.

 

Mrs. Phillip Fitzmaurice was taken to Memorial Hospital in Neillsville Tuesday for treatment of a nerve condition.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Schmitt and children, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Stanley and Randy, and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Gerber were dinner guests Sunday in the Roger Ness home in Altoona.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Will Hein have received word that their son, Col. Neil Hein, who has been stationed in Paris, France, will leave there about the middle of June, and will be assigned to a post in Chicago, Ill.

 

Mrs. Perry Prestibak and boys of Rock Falls spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Aebersold.  While here she called on Grandma Aebersold in the Herman Gerber home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Victor Scheibe visited Monday in the Erne Bagley home at Osseo.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Leland Duxbury entertained at cards Friday evening Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Aeschbacher, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Seig, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Gerber and Mr. and Mrs. Rolla Seig and Paulette of Fairchild.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Ness and children of Altoona were guests Sunday in the Hugh Terrell home.
