Emling, Harry H. (1 AUG 1888 - 14 OCT 1962)
Funeral services for Harry H. Emling, 74, who died Sunday at Memorial Hospital, Wausau, were held Wednesday afternoon. Mr. Emling suffered a heart attack Saturday morning and was taken by ambulance to the hospital where his death occurred unexpectedly about 2 p.m.
The Rev. Ralph Koelemay, pastor of the Spencer Methodist Church, officiated at the services held at the Polnaszek Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Miss Dorothy Kieser and Miss Weldon Brown Jr. Sang "In the Garden" and "The Old Rugged Cross."
Interment was made in the Spencer Cemetery. The pallbearers were Hugo Bargenquast, Louis Mauritz, John Mueller, Cecil Oehler, Henry Ortmeier, and Emil Untiedt.
Harry Emling was born at Hartford Aug. 1, 1888. He was a resident of abbotsford since 1921 and was a sheet metal worker for the Abbotsford Hardware Co. until that part of the business was sold to Oehler Heat and Sheet Metal Co. he was in their employ until 1957.
Mr. Emling was a member of the Osceola Masonic Lodge.
Surviving him are his widow, the former Mame Kayhart; a son, Norman of Appleton; two grandchildren, Kay and David Emling, Appleton; six sisters, Miss Sadie Emling, Mrs. Laura Nelson, Miss Edith Emling and Miss Irene Emling, all of Angola, Ind.; Miss Eva Emling, Hudson, Mich., and Mrs. Addie Lintner, King; and one brother, Charles Emling, Lake Forest, Ill.
