Kattre, Lester E. (3 APR 1908 - 11 OCT 1962)

Lester E. Kattre, 54, of Chippewa Falls, a former Abbotsford resident, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 1962, after a lingering illness.

Masonic rites were conducted by Chippewa Lodge 176 on Saturday evening at the funeral chapel and services were held at the First Presbyterian Church in Chippewa Falls Sunday at 2 p.m., after which interment was made in the East Side Cemetery (Clark Co., Wis.) at Stanley.

Mr. Kattre was born at Plymouth April. 3, 1908, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Kattre.  He attended the Abbotsford schools and graduated from high school in 1925.

On Aug. 8, 1935, he and Audrey Anderson were married at Abbotsford.  He was employed at the Northwest Distributing Co. and in October 1942 the family moved to Chippewa Falls.  For the past 15 years, Mr. Kattre was the operator of a Cities Service Oil Co. outlet at Chippewa Falls.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian (the rest of my copy was cut off)
