Barton, Ernest (? - 13 March 1961)
Word was received here this week of the death of two Clark County natives in California. Dead were Dale J. Herian, 45, of Pasadena, (a separate obit) and Ernest Barton, 75, of Riverside (this obit) .
Mr. Barton, who was born in Neillsville, was the adopted son of the late Anton Barton. He died March 13. Funeral services were March 16, in Riverside, Calif.
Mr. Barton worked as a barber for Dick Townsend in Neillsville and married Ruby Neff of Neillsville. A daughter, Mrs. William (Mary) Spier of California, survives. He leaves two step-brothers, John and Devere Barton, and a step-sister, Mrs. Matie De Lion of Spokane, Wash.
