Schoengrund, Helena (16 February 1894 - 19 March 1961)
Funeral services were to be held Wednesday afternoon from Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal for Mrs. Arthur (Helena) Schoengrund, 67, lifelong resident of Clark County who died March 19, in a Marshfield hospital.
The services were to be conducted by the Rev. V. A. Ganz, and burial was to be made in the parish cemetery in Loyal. Arrangements were made by the Myre Funeral Home.
Mrs. Schoengrund had been in poor health for several years, and confined to the hospital since February 22. She suffered a stroke March 15.
She was born Helena Boetcher February 16, 1894, in the Town of Beaver, and lived in the Loyal area all her life. She was married to Arthur Schoengrund on October 7, 1915, and operated a farm northeast of Loyal until 1944, when they moved into the city.
Surviving are her husband and two daughters: Mrs. Edwin (Evelyn) Ertl of Spencer, and Mrs. John (Marcella) Reynolds, Menomonee Falls. Four grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services were held March 22 from Trinity Lutheran Church for Mrs. Arthur (Helena) Schoengrund, 67, who died in Marshfield March 19 following a month’s illness. She suffered a stroke March 15.
Conducting the service was the Rev. V. A. Ganz. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.
Pallbearers were: John E. Olson, Joseph Motchenbacher, Harold Hills, Sigward Johnson, Albert Oestreich and William Kleinschmidt.
Mrs. Everett Dux and Mrs. Verland Dux sang two numbers, accompanied by Carole Noeldner at the organ.
Out-of-town people attending included: Mrs. and Mrs. Edwin Ertl and Mrs. Emily Jenni, all of Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. John Reynolds of Menomonee Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Meier, Neillsville; Mrs. Alfred France of Marshfield; and Mr. and Mrs. John Luther of Wausau.
