Meyer, Jennie  (28 MAY 1887-? MARCH 1953)

 

Mrs. William Meyer, 65, died at the home of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Leo Meyer, of a heart attack at 8 P.M. Saturday.

 

Mrs. Meyer, the former Jennie McKimm, was born in York Center, May 28, 1887. She received her education in York Center. She was married to William Meyer at Neillsville, April 24, 1906. They lived in Neillsville for a few years then mover to Loyal where she has lived for the past 42 years.

 

She is survived by her husband, o0ne son, Edward, of Loyal, and two daughters, Mrs. Foster (Ruth) Will, Owen, and Mrs. H. A. (Gertrude) Keller, Fort Lauderville, Florida. Also among survivors are six grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Owen Miller, of Portland, Oregon.

 

Mrs. Meyer was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and of its Altar Society.  A

General rosary was held at the Myre Funeral Home Tuesday evening.

 

Funeral services were in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church at 9:30 A. M. Wednesday with the Rev. Norbert King officiating.

 

Burial was in St. Anthony’s parish cemetery.

 

Pallbearers were Frank Degenhardt, Ted Gregory, Matt Beaver, Leo Rueth, Herb Braun and Peter Brecht.
