Schultz, William (04 JAN 1869-16 MAR 1953)
William Schultz, 84, a pioneer resident of this vicinity, died at the Bethel Convalescent Home, Arpin March 16.
He was born in Germany January 4, 1869 and came to America with his parents when six years of age. The family settled in Dodge County. Later he came to Clark County and has resided in the vicinity of Loyal for the past 72 years, moving to his last farm in 1894.
He was married to Lillie Schoch April 7, 1892.
He is survived by his wife, who is a patient in St. Joseph’s Hospital, seven daughters, Mrs. William (Esther) Domer, Riplinger; Mrs. Ralph (Lauretta) Koch. Mrs. Elsie Kroening, and Mrs. Henry (Ruby) Stikle, Milwaukee; Mrs. Raymond (Adeline) Kuntze, Menominee Falls; Mrs. Phil (Elva) Glazer, Srevens Point; Mrs. Julian (Mae) Hunt, Idaho City, Idaho; and four sons, Alfred Schultz, Loyal; Roy Schultz, Benidji, Minn.; Melvin Shultz, Idaho City, Idaho; an Oscar Schultz, Packwaukee; also by 25 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday in the Loyal Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Trobaugh officiating. Burial was in the Beaver cemetery.
Pallbearers were Carl Tessmer, Tom Jablonick, Ted Piekola, Harland Raeck, Royal Castner and Hugo Schuette.
Mrs. Ray Prior and Miss Grace Fenner sang, "What Friend We Have in Jesus", and "Under His Wings". Mrs. Byron Zepplin was organist.
