Cub Scouts (Ride "400" - 18 March 1961)
Ten boys of Den 1 of the Cub Scouts enjoyed a train ride Saturday from Merrillan to Wyeville on the "400." The group left Merrillan at 2:35, spent an hour in Wyeville and returned at 4:52 to Merrillan. For many this was their first train ride.
Den mother Mrs. Donald Hagie, was assisted by Mrs. Ted Pierce and Den Chief Alan Carl.
Boys making the trip were: Mike Hughes, Jim Knoff, Paul Simenson, Jan Pierce, Bradley Roberts, Steve Lipscy, Bruce Hagie, David Roberts, Tommy Tock, and Keith Short.
Another group of boys from a Black River Falls Den also made the trip Saturday.
