Granton, Wisconsin (30 March 1961)

 

The Ladies Aid of the Zion Lutheran Church will meet Wednesday in the church parlors.  Hostesses will be Mrs. Ed Schlinsog, Mrs. Arthur Riedel and Mrs. Allen Reisner. A. L. W. M. L. meeting will be held in connection with the aid meeting.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Spaete entertained at Sunday dinner in honor of the confirmation of their son, Paul. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Gerber, Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Spaete, Sturgeon Bay; Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Drinsinger and daughter; Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schultz and three boys, Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs. Jess Richmond, Jr., and three daughters; and Al Kramer, Pittsville.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Werner Doehr, Chili, visited Sunday at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Lucien Moh, and Her family, and helped their granddaughter, Sally, celebrate her fifth birthday.

 

Five young people were confirmed Palm Sunday in the Zion Lutheran Church. The Rev. L. E. Schreiber conducted the service, for Joyce Dahl, Rennee Dudley, Paul Spaete, Colleen Montgomery and James Young.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Sauer and children of Bruce visited Saturday with her aunt, Mrs. William Schmidtke.
