Heintz, Max #2 (3 MAR 1877 - 5 DEC 1962)

 

Max Heintz, 85, died Dec. 5, 1962 at the Leahy Nursing Home here, where he was a resident the past two and one-half months.  Funeral services were conducted the following Saturday afternoon at the Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby, with the Rev. Carl Serr officiating.  Interment was made in the Colby Cemetery.

 

Mr. Heintz was born in Fond du Lac on March 3, 1877.  He was employed in lumber mills most of his life and lived in the Cherokee area the past 30 years. 

 

His marriage to Mrs. Minnie Kattre took place June 7, 1938 in Marshfield.  She preceded him in death in 1960.

 

He was a member of the Colby Masonic Lodge.

 

Surviving him are two step-sons, Gilbert Kattre of Abbotsford, and Elroy Kattre of St. Paul, and several nieces and nephews.

 

Among those attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Kattre, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kalepp, Mrs. William Kalepp, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Schilling, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Provinski, Al Goldamer and Miss Laura Olson, Abbotsford; Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Kattre, St. Paul; and Mrs. L. E. Kattre, Chippewa Falls.
