Mr. and Mrs. Ben Dux, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dahl and son, Mr. and Mrs. Verland Dux and family, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Dux and family, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dux, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dux, and Mr. and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thoma and Gail of Neillsville were guest of George Dahl Sunday and helped him celebrate his 70^th birthday.

Jeanne Lou, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Bauer, was baptized Sunday at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.  The sponsors were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Waldhauser.  The Rev. Norbert E. King officiated.  The baby was born April 2.

Twenty-two women from St. Anthony’s parish attended the Clark-Jackson Deanery council meeting at St. Mary’s in Colby last Thursday afternoon. They were: Mrs. Alfred Meyer, deanery treasurer, Mrs. Gilbert Loos, Mrs. Joe Hoeser, Mrs. Vincent Lindner, Mrs. Alex Loos, Mrs. Joe Wendel, Mrs. Wm. Theisen, Sr., Mrs. Alvin Miller, Mrs. E. A. Bremer, Mrs. Florence Haas, Mrs. Duane (balance of list of names is missing) .
