Hutton, Fred E. #2 (13 JAN 1871 - 15 DEC 1962)
Fred E. Hutton, 91, a retired railroad man and longtime resident of this area, died at the Leahy Nursing Home Dec. 15, 1962. Funeral services were held the following Saturday at the Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby, with the rev. Ralph Koolemay, pastor of the Colby Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was made in the Colby Cemetery.
Mr. Hutton was born in Kingston, Jan. 13, 1871, and at the age of two years came to the town of Hull, where he resided until 1908, when he went to Colby.
On Sept. 6, 1911 he was married to the former Louella Wescott, who preceded him in death.
He was employed by the Soo Line Railroad from 1911 to 1941, when he retired.
He is survived by step-daughter, Mrs. Walter (Irma) Maier, Ferndale, Mich.
