Darton, Mr./Mrs. Arthur (59th - 1 JAN 1955)
New Year’s Day, 1955, marked the fifty-ninth wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Darton. The day was spent quietly as guests of their grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Bender, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Darton and daughter, Donna Lou, were also guests at the Merlin Bender home New Years.
Olga Rossman and Arthur Darton were married in greenwood, Jan. 1, 1896, by the Rev. James L. Ford. They made their home on the farm in Beaver (Clark Co., Wis.) where they lived until they sold the farm to their son, Hugh Darton. They moved into their home in Loyal in 1928.
