Parents of the bride, the former Audries Schoelzel, are Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Schoelzel, Colby, and parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Wolfe.
During the 4 o’clock rites, which were performed by the Rev. Victor Grosshuesch, Miss Patsy Schoelzel, Colby, and Marvin Schoelzel, Unity, sang "The Lord is My Shepherd" and "Savior, Like a Shepherd Lead Us."
The bride wore a navy blue princess style dress accented with a corsage of red roses and white stephanotis. Her accessories were white.
Bridal aides included Mrs. John Sheets, Abbotsford, the bride’s sister, as matron of honor, and Mrs. Edward Domine, Milwaukee, a sister of the groom, as bridesmaid. White accessories and corsages of white carnations and pink rosebuds were worn with their navy blue dresses.
Husbands of the bridal aides attended the groom.
After the ceremony the newlyweds greeted guests at a reception at the bride’s home, followed by a wedding dance in Riplinger Hall.
The bride is a graduate of Colby High School and her husband, who attended Loyal High School, is employed at the Pine Grove Cheese Factory.
