Bergant, Frank M. (26 January 1886 - 17 April 1961)
Funeral services are being conducted this afternoon (Thursday) at 2 p.m. from the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood for Frank M. Bergant, 75, of Willard, who died Monday in Willard. The Rev. Fr. Aloysius Madic of the holy Family Catholic Church will officiate and burial will be made in the National Cemetery in Willard.
Mr. Bergant was born January 26, 1886, in Yugoslavia and in 1904 came to America locating in Ely, Minn., and in 1914 he came to Willard where he has resided since. On April 21, 1906 he was married to the former Mary Ann Grosely.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Toney of Cicero, Ill.; John and Frank, Jr. both of Willard; and three daughters, Mrs. August (Mary) Stremikis, Willard; Mrs. Louie Bogolin, Western Springs, Ill., and Mrs. George (Angeline) Popacek, Downers Grove, Ill. Other survivors include - a sister in Yugoslavia, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
