Last Saturday afternoon at 4 o’clock Rev. Risser united in marriage Andrew P. Lien and Mrs. Alma Sterling. The wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E.J. Rossman, Mrs. Rossman being a sister of the bride. The bridal couple was attended by Dr. Riley of Merrill and Miss Mary Lien of Stanley and at the conclusion of the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Lien went to Kilbourn for a brief visit before going to their home at Stanley. The groom is a young veterinary surgeon and those who know him speak highly of his ability and integrity. His bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.O. Rhea and is a young lady of many accomplishments and pleasing characteristics. They will make their home at Stanley where Dr. Lien is engaged in practice.
