Bremer, Ray (serving jail time - 15 Jan 1914)
Ray Bremer, or rather a young man giving his name as such, is now serving a 60-day sentence for hiring a horse and buggy of Tom Gibson at Chili and later abandoning it. The young man hired the horse and then disappeared and the rig was later found in the country on the roadside. Gibson had a warrant sworn out for his arrest and Bremer was apprehended at Lyndsey and lodged in the county jail. It is learned that the fellow is wanted at Stevens Point, Portage and other places for various crimes and District Attorney Rush and Sheriff Harry Hewett are investigating his past record.
