Grant Township (11 May 1961)
Donald Erpenbach, of Tripoli, visited Mr. and Mrs. Tony Erpenbach last weekend. He plans to work on his master’s degree in vocational and administrative education at the University of Wisconsin this summer, and will return to Tripoli in the fall.
Harold Huckstead helped Cliff Paulson and Cliff Blackman with seeding last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Lautenbach and Mrs. Arnold Drescher attended the wedding of a nephew, Gerald Gerzmehl, in Wisconsin Rapids Saturday.
Ernest Ott of Fremont reports barn swallows returned to his farm Thursday.
Washington School will hold its picnic Saturday and will close May 16. This will be the last term of school. The district will join the Neillsville School Dist. July 1.
William Chambers, music instructor in Granton, plans to attend summer school at Platteville College. His family will remain in the Town of Grant.
