Mason, Cora E. (25 APR 1893 - 13 MAR 1955)
Mrs. Andrew mason, 61, died of a cerebral Hemorrhage at 5:25 a.m. Sunday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where she had been a patient the past week.
Funeral services were held at the Hansen Funeral Home, Marshfield, at 2 p.m. Thursday, with the rev. Samuel Hardt, pastor of the Apostolic Church in Marshfield, officiating. Burial took place in Mound Cemetery at Pittsville.
Mrs. Mason, formerly Cora Elizabeth Selden, was born April 25, 1893 in Rockford, Ill. At an early age she came to Pittsville, where she received her education.
Her marriage to Andrew Mason took place Feb. 23, 1914, in Wis. Rapids. The couple lived at various places before coming to Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.) 10 years ago. Last spring they moved into the city into a home which they purchased from Leonard Rueth. They left the city last fall to spend the winter at the home of their son.
Mrs. Mason is survived by her husband, five daughters, Mrs. Harold (Lucille) Larie, New Orleans, La.; Mrs. Honore (Ruth) Lavernier and Mrs. Robert (Alice) Lavernier, both of Northfield, Il..; and the Misses Betty and Dorothy Mason, both of Loyal; three sons, Willis Mason, Waterville, Iowa; Robert Mason, Delavan; and Harold Mason, Puente, Calif.; a brother, Stanley J. Selden, Tacoma, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Fred (Julia) Wadell, Janesville, and Mrs. Milton (Marie) Vroman, Plainfield; and 13 grandchildren
Two sons and a brother preceded her in death.
