Miller, Marilyn L. (9 APR 1955)
Miss Marilyn Louise Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Miller, Madison, and Arley Uhrig, son of Fred C. Uhrig, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.) , exchanged nuptial vows at a 1:30 p.m. services in a Unitarian Church in Madison, Saturday, April 9, 1955.
The bride wore a ballerina length gown of aqua with a small hat of matching color, and carried a bouquet of aqua tinted daisies.
The maid of honor, Miss June Schauer, Madison, a cousin of the bride, wore a fuchsia colored hat and carried fuchsia tinted daisies.
Robert C. Uhrig, brother of the groom, served as best man and Robert Miller, brother of the bride, and Tom Zaunder ushered.
A reception at the church followed the wedding.
The groom is a graduate of the Loyal High School and has attended the University of Wisconsin. At present he is teaching Television Electronics and is also employed by the State Radio Council.
The bride is a graduate of Madison East High School and is attending the University of Wisconsin. She has part time employment at Wis. General Hospital.
Upon their return from a honeymoon spent in Canada, they will make their home in Madison.
Those from Loyal who attended the wedding were Fred C. Uhrig, Emily and Marliss Uhrig, Harold Collinson, Mr. and Mrs. George Rowley, and Mr. and Mrs. Daryl Rowley. Others attending who are known in this vicinity are Mrs. Bud Schlinsog and daughter, Arpin; violet and Harriet Littlefield, Sheboygan Falls; Mr. and Mrs. August Uhrig, Sheboygan; and Mr. and Mrs. August Seffes, Mt. Calvary.
