Neillsville, Wisconsin Locals (18 May 1961)

 

Wendy Kaye, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sykes, was baptized during the service Sunday in the Methodist Church.

 

Mrs. Ann Hudek and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Norneau and family, St. Paul, Minn., were weekend guests at the Alfred Norneau home.

 

Weekend guests at the B. J. Benson home were Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Rubyor of Rice Lake.  Mrs. Benson and Mrs. Rubyor are sisters.

 

Claire Smale recently delivered a trailer in Spokane, Wash., and while there was an overnight guest of Mr. and Mrs. William Carl and family in Medical Lake. They visited Grand Coulee Dam.

 

Mrs. G. C. Youmans accompanied Miss Bernadine Peterson to Madison Sunday.  She plans to spend several days with her daughter, Miss Rita Youmans, an instructor in the University.

 

Mrs. George Meier of Waupaca is spending several days with her son, W. G. Meier, and his family.

 

Dr. and Mrs. Kenneth Manz spent the weekend in Appleton with their children, Paul and Katherine.


Miss Mary Manz, a student at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minn., spent the weekend at her home here.

 

Mr. and Mrs. B. J. Benson were Wednesday overnight guests at the H. C. Benson home in Eau Claire. They also visited in Elk Mound and Elk Lake.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Schnabel and two children, York, and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Foemmel and three daughters, Granton, were Mother’s Day dinner guests of Mrs. C. R. Spry.

 

Each mother who attended services Sunday in the Neillsville Methodist Church was present with a carnation, a gift of the Men’s Club.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Garald Hart had all their children home for Mother’s Day.  Present were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bedell and family, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Burr and children and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hart. 

 

Mr. and Mrs. Dick Prochazka and children, La Crescent, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. George Prochazka and Miss Stella Davis were Sunday guests at the Arthur Schlinsog home near Granton.
