Boy Scouts/Explores (Camporee - 1961)

About 250 Boy Scouts and Explorers from White Pine District took part in a Camporee at Wildcat Mound Friday and Saturday.  Between 35 and 40 boys from Neillsville Troops 43 and 64 and Explorer Post 64 attended under Scoutmasters James Tomlinson, Richard Schneider and adult Leaders Kenneth Short, Clinton Koxlien and Charles Marvin.

The boys set up tents, took hikes over Ranger "Mac" trail, and into the cut-over areas around the Mound. They were from many cities of Clark and Chippewa Counties.
