Prior to the 9 o’clock Nuptial High Mass Wednesday morning at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal, Miss Yvonne Ann Eddy, route 1, Spencer, entered the church on the arm of her stepfather, Lawrence Bauer, Monticello, to join Kenneth Rolland Bauer of route 2, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.) , at the altar for the exchange of marriage vows in the presence of the pastor, the Rev. Norbert King.

The groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Rolland Bauer, route 2, Loyal.

A French nosegay of pink roses and lily of the valley centered with a white orchid and tied with white satin ribbons, was carried by the bride, who wore a floor length gown of nylon tulle over satin.  Lace appliques decorated the billowy skirt which had a front panel of Alencon type lace cascading in tiers.  The bodice had a sweetheart neckline and long sleeves coming to points over the hands.  The imported fingertip veil of illusion net was fastened to a headpiece trimmed with sequins and seed pearls.

Nosegays of white cymbidiums and carnations tinted to match the gowns were carried by all three bridal aides - Mrs. Tony Mondlock, a sister of the groom, from Mauston, in orchid, the matron of honor, and Mrs. Allan Seefluth, Wis. Rapids, a sister of the groom, and Mrs. Tom Froeba, a cousin of the groom, in blue, the bridesmaids.

Their dresses were fashioned alike, cover-up jackets topping the strapless bodices and floor length full skirts of ruffled dotted nylon.  Floral trimmed tiaras matched their gowns.

Mothers of the bride and groom had corsages of Phalaenopsis, white carnations and ivy.

The husband of the matron of honor was best man for his brother-in-law, and the husbands of the bridesmaids were the groomsmen.

In the evening at 7 o’clock relatives and friends attended a dinner at the home of the groom’s parents.

The new Mrs. Bauer was employed by the Dairy Belt Cheese and Butter Co., Spencer, and her husband worked on the farm of his parents.  Milwaukee will be their new home.
