Jackman, Margaret (5 OCT 1928 - 23 JUN 1955)
Relatives from Loyal who attended the funeral of Mrs. Donald Jackman at the Ascension Church in Minneapolis Monday were Mr. and Mrs. George Schlagenhaft Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Tony Schlagenhaft, and Robert Schlagenhaft. Mr. and Mrs. George Schlagenhaft Jr. of Marshfield also attended the funeral.
Mrs. Jackman, 26, formerly Margaret Schlagenhaft, was born at Marshfield, Oct. 5, 1928 and came with her parents when a small child to live in Loyal (Clark Co. Wis.) . She was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Schlagenhaft Sr.
She was a graduate of the Loyal High School, attended Eau Claire State College for a year, and was graduated from the Glenwood Hills Hospital School of Psychiatric Nursing at Minneapolis in 1950.
Her marriage to Donald Gordon Jackman took place June 23, 1951, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church at Loyal, with the Rev. Norbert King officiating.
Mrs. Jackman’s death occurred at St. Barbara’s Hospital, Minneapolis Thursday, June 23. 1955. She had been in ill health for several months.
She is survived by her husband, her parents, two daughters, Terry Ann, 3, and Michelle Renee, 1, at home; and three brothers, George Schlagenhaft Jr., Marshfield, and Tony and Robert of Loyal.
Interment was at Fort Snelling.
