Sherwood Township (15 June 1961)

Mrs. George Florence, Jr., has returned from the Memorial Hospital at Neillsville.

A motion picture, "Regions Beyond", will be shown at the Sherwood Community Church Saturday evening at 8.

Mrs. Arvile Schafer helped Miss Helen Sparks Thursday with housecleaning.

Misses Becky Todd and Beverly Jacobson of Madison spent the weekend with their parents.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Freedlund and children of Rockford, Ill., came for the wedding and were house guests of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Jacobson.  Mr. and Mrs. Chester Freedlund accompanied them and spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Freedlund.

Mr. and Mrs. Louie Long, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Freedlund, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Lindberg and families of Rockford, Ill., came for the Freedlund wedding and spent the weekend in the Chester and Norman Freedlund homes.

Mr. and Mrs. Bert Todd have had as their guests Mr. Todd’s sister and husband from the State of Washington.

Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Schwanebeck of Rockford, Ill., spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Schwanebeck.  They attended the Dickson-Freedlund wedding.

A shower was held Monday evening for Miss Anita Dickson in the Sherwood Lutheran Church.
