McKenna, Annabelle #2 (7 JUN 1896 - 12 JUL 1955)

 

At the Solemn Requiem High Mass conducted in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church at 9 a.m. Saturday for Mrs. William McKenna, Rev. Fr. Norbert King was celebrant, Father John Novak of Willard was deacon, Father Francis Heindl of Holy Cross Seminary, La Crosse, was sub-deacon.

 

Priests in Sanctuary were Father Oswald Schutte of Holy Cross Seminary, La Crosse, and Father Edward Bertz, Holy Cross Seminary, La Crosse.  Master of Ceremonies was James Stauber, Marshfield.  Thurifers were Robert Heinzen and Joseph Bilgrien of Marshfield.  Acolytes were Robert Baer and Michael Zgarrick, Marshfield.

 

Pallbearers included: Bernard Baierl, John Kipp and Herman Weissenback, all of Marshfield, Jerome Hoeser, Loyal, John Zawadski and Gerald Zawadski, Owen.

 

All pallbearers and servers are students for the holy priesthood.

 

St. Mary’s Altar Society of St. Anthony’s Church attended the services in a body.

 

Out of town people attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Douglas O’Donnell, Marshfield; Michael McKenna, Holy Cross Seminary, La Crosse; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Halle and Richard, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Halle, Mr. and Mrs. James Beckman, all of Waukegan, Ill.; Mrs. Martin Halle and family, Stevens Point, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Halle and family, Gray’s Lake, Ill.; Mrs. Millie Barker, Abbotsford; Mrs. John Henry, St. Louis, Mo.; Homer Potter, Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Potter, Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Alois Van Ert, Wis. Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Potter, Wis. Rapids; Mrs. Frank Plecity, Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. John Hardinger, Marshfield; Marvin Hardinger, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Potts, Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Murphy, Neillsville.  Many old friends and neighbors from Greenwood also attended.
