Bannach, John J. (? - 8 MAR 2011)
John J. Bannach was born into eternal life March 8,
2011, at Memorial Medical Center in Neillsville, after a brief
illness.
Loving father of Ricia (Jim) Prothero and Rhondi
Bannach.
Proud grandpa of Daniel (Amy) Prothero and Nicki
Prothero Wolosek. Honored great-grandpa of Alyssa and Anthony
Prothero and Riana and Jack
Wolosek.
He is further survived by his sister, Maureen
Bannach, and many other relatives and
friends.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elaine; his
mother and step-father, Mabel and Alex Schneider; his father, John
Bannach; and his brother, Donald W.
Bannach.
John proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and
spent two years in Korea. After serving his country, he learned the
masonry trade and helped build many schools, churches and
hospitals. John moved from Milwaukee to Chili in 1976, where he
fulfilled a lifelong dream of raising beef
cattle.
Private family services were held. Hansen-Schilling
Funeral Home in Marshfield assisted the family with
arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer
Society are
appreciated.
