Pieper, Bernard (27 MAY 1905 - 4 AUG 1955)
Bernard Pieper, 50, died at 1:20 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, 1955, in the Memorial Hospital, Neillsville, of a liver ailment.
He was born May 27, 1905, on the farm in the town of Beaver (Clark Co., Wis.) , where he resided all of his life. He received his education in the town of Beaver Schools.
Funeral services were conducted at the Myre Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Saturday and interment was in the Lutheran Cemetery. The Rev. John Pfohl officiated. Mrs. Romaine Rossow and Mrs. Erwin Noeldner sang "Under His Wings" and "Nearer My God to Thee." Miss Margaret Ann Rottjer was organist.
Pallbearers were Edward Rohloff, Fred Seil, Alvin Wolfe, Donald Schwan, Jerome Delo, and John Pieper.
Mr. Pieper is survived by two sisters, Mrs. William (Lorna) Fohrman, and Mrs. Richard (Alma) Gotter, and two brothers, Arnold and Reinhard, all of Loyal.
