Trogner, Nora Mae(5 November 1869 - 24 June 1961)

A requiem high mass was read Tuesday morning in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville for Mrs. Nora Mae Trogner, 91, 300 Park Street, Neillsville, who died Saturday in Memorial hospital of old age complications. The Rev. Fr. Bernard T. Kelly officiated and burial was made in the parish cemetery.

The former Nora Mae McMahon, daughter of the late Timothy and Nora (O’Brien) McMahon, was born November 5, 1869 in Canada.  When she was six years of age her family moved to Mt. Pleasant, Mich., where she received her education, later moving to Thorp.  On September 12, 1895 she was married in Thorp to George Trogner, who died in 1910.  Since her marriage she had resided in Neillsville.

Mrs. Trogner was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and its Christian Mother’s Society.

Two sons survive her. They are Neil Trogner, and John Trogner, both of Neillsville; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.

The Christian Mother’s Society recited a rosary service Monday afternoon at the Bergemann Funeral Home, and in the evening a general rosary service was said.

Pallbearers were Ray Burr, Martin Feuerstein, Francis Guest, Robert Hopfer, Newt Toptine, and Joe Wavrunek.

The Christian Mother’s Society attended the services in a group.

Mrs. Paul Seaman of Minneapolis, Minn., was here for the service.
