Garbisch, Gerhardt R. (8 February 1914 - 21 June 1961)

 

Funeral services were held June 21 in Beloit for Gerhardt R. Garbisch, 47, of Beloit who died June 19 in a Beloit hospital.

 

Mr. Garbisch was born February 8, 1914 in Granton, and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Garbisch.  On December 15, 1940 he was married to the former Edith Krutsch in Neillsville.  He was Town of York patrolman for several years and for the past nine years had resided in Beloit where he was engaged in iron work.

 

Surviving him are his wife and the following brothers and sisters, Martin, Ben and Alfred of Granton, and William Garbisch of California; Mrs. Freida Dahl, Granton; Mrs. Emma Billman, California; Dora Billman, Burlington; and Mrs. Gertrude Schroeder, Racine.

 

Pallbearers were: Alfred and William Garbisch, Wilbur Billman, Dave, Henry, and James Krutsch.
