Anderson, John (4 September 1878 - 2 July 1961)
Funeral services are being conducted this (Thursday) afternoon for John Anderson, 82, St. Paul, Minn., a former Neillsville resident, who died Sunday in St. Paul. The Rev. Lloyd Mauer of the Methodist church will officiate at the services from the Georgas Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Burial will be made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
Mr. Anderson was born September 4, 1878, son of the late Andrew Andersons. He lived in Neillsville until 1910, when he went to Kenosha to work. On August 12, 1903, he was married to the former Bessie Howard in Neillsville, who died in 1958. They resided in Kenosha for a year and then moved to St. Paul, Minn., which had been his home since. He served in the Spanish American War, and during his residence in Neillsville was employed in the old furniture factory here.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Hurley, St. Paul, Minn. and one grandchild.
