Dillenbeck, Dorothea (10 February 1895 - 15 July 1961)
Mrs. Roger Dillenbeck, nee Dorothea Spranger, daughter of the late Rudolph and Marie Spranger, was born February 10, 1895, in Neillsville. Mrs. Dillenbeck died suddenly of a heart attack at noon Saturday at the Robert Altman home in Marshfield.
She attended school at Globe. On April 20, 1921, she was married to Roger Dillenbeck at Globe. They resided on their farm in the town of Eaton until 17 years ago, when they moved to Marshfield. To this union a son, Harold, was born.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. from the Marshfield Methodist Church. Burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery. The Rev. Douglas Oyan officiated. During the service, Mrs. Harold Zyachek sang. She was accompanied by Mrs. Maldon Plank.
Pallbearers were: Pat Felker, Robert Reitz, Jr., Walter Rogney, Ludwig Kuhn, Joe Helbach and Clarence Fosholt, all of Marshfield.
Mrs. Dillenbeck is survived by her husband and son, Harold; eight grandchildren; a brother, Louis Spranger of Greenwood; and four sisters, Mrs. Minnie Whie and Mrs. Jennie Schoenwetter, both of Neillsville, Mrs. Orville Dimler of Marshfield and Mrs. Bill (Margaret) Rabine of Mineral Point.
