Acker, Kurt (24 June 1895 - 20 July 1961)
Kurt Acker, 66, former Greenwood resident, died at a hospital in Seattle, Wash., July 20. The son of August and Minnie (Rhoerdanz) Acker, he was born June 24, 1895, near Milwaukee. He is survived by two brothers, Paul of Greenwood and Edward of Minneapolis; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Zion United Church. The Rev. Orval Egbert was to officiate. Burial was to be made in the Greenwood Cemetery. Military rites were to be in charge of the Wallis-Hinker Legion Post.
