Pagelsdorf, Edward (1 January 1893 - 19 July 1961)
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from the Myre Funeral Home for Edward Pagelsdorf, 68, of Rt. 1, Loyal, who died unexpectedly at his home July 19 following a heart attack.
The service was conducted by Rev. Ralph Koelemay, pastor of the Spencer Methodist Church. Burial was made in the Loyal Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Joe Bymer, August Thurs, Vernal Haselow, Lincoln Schoolman, Dale Weyhmiller and Donald Bugar.
A resident of Clark County for most of his life, Mr. Pagelsdorf was born January 1, 1893 in Deerfield. He came to the Town of Eaton with his parents. On February 10, 1915, he was married in Neillsville to Sylvia Bassett and in 1917 moved to Beloit, where they lived for a year. They returned to a farm in the Town of Sherman, where he had lived since. Mr. Pagelsdorf served as assessor for the town of Sherman for 22 years.
Surviving besides Mrs. Pagelsdorf are two sons, Carroll and Harold, both of Rt. 1 Loyal; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Will (Esther) Rondorf of Marshfield and Mrs. James (Elsie) Blecha of Pasadena, Calif.

Belvoir, Va.; Mr. and Mrs. Steve Rotar and Judy, Verona; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Schmidt, Tucson, Ariz.; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Degenhardt, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Jake Abbuhl, Columbus; Mr. and Mrs. Herb Adler, Humbird; Mr. and Mrs. Tony Jensen and Mrs. Clara Luther, Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Cook, Mr. and Mrs. William Rondorf, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Rondorf and family, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Olson, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Olson, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Jensen, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Felton, Peter Felton, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gadtke and Herman Schultz, all of Marshfield.
