Cox, Marie (27 September 1928 - 20 July 1961)
Funeral services were held from Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal Monday afternoon for Mrs. Fred (Marie) Cox, Jr. 32, who died at 9 p.m. July 20, at her home. The Rev. V. A. Ganz was in charge of the ceremonies, and burial was made in the Loyal Cemetery. Arrangements were made by the Myre Funeral Home.
A lifelong resident of Clark County, she was born Marie Anderegg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Anderegg of Loyal, in the Town of York on September 27, 1928. She was graduated from Loyal High School.
Pallbearers were Mike Weyhmiller, Otto Holnbach, Hugo Stutte, Joe Hubing, Erwin Dux and Keith McNeely. Mrs. Romaine Rossow sang, "God be With You, ‘Till we meet again." She was accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Kenneth Hansen.
On December 11, 1946, she was married to Fred Cox, Jr. Mrs. Cox was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the church’s women’s society, and Loyal Women’s Study Club and the Women’s Bowling League.
In addition to her husband and parents, three sons survive: Freddy, Monty and Douglas; two sisters, Mrs. Harvey (Lucille) Brussow and Mrs. Ralph (Gladys) Rayhorn, both of Loyal; and her maternal grandmother, Mrs. William Evans of Arpin.

Brehmer and Mr. and Mrs. Art Schwartkoff of Birnamwood; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Meyer, Borth; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schmerling and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Utke of Winneconne; Mr. and Mrs. William Utke and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Middlesteadt of Neenah; Mrs. Helga Radiachel and Mrs. Kenneth Radiachel of Menasha; Mr. and Mrs. Almond Meyer of Borth; Mrs. Donald Tracey of Nekoosa; Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Starch of Coon Valley; Mr. and Mrs. George Starch and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Starch and family of La Crosse; Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Gunderson and family of Coon Valley; Mrs. Percy Zickert of Neillsville; Mrs. Norbert Newmier, Mrs. Henry Leonard and Sharon Evans, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Olstinski and Bud of Racine; Mr. and Mrs. E.
