Neillsville, Wisconsin Area (27 July 1961)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Donald E. Peters visited his mother, Mrs. Edward Peters, in Waterloo last weekend.  His sister, Frances Peters, returned with them for a visit.

 

Mrs. Mae Meyers and Mrs. Chris D. Young of Waukegan, Ill., visited Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bardell last weekend.

 

Mrs. Gordon Thur of Fairchild visited her father, Ben Wegner, Tuesday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Prock and Mary will drive to Milwaukee today (Thursday) .  Mary will enter Milwaukee hospital for surgery Friday on her right foot. She is 11, Michael Prock, who is with the rehabilitation department in Minneapolis, will spend next weekend at home.

 

Mrs. Alex Adolph and daughter, Nellie, are spending this week at the Carl Hoffmann home and with Mr. and Mrs. Louis Hoffmann.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Garth Jensen camped and fished at Lake Pulaski, near Bruce, last week.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Marion E. Benedict and son, of Wauwatosa were dinner guests at the Harold Huckstead home Tuesday.

 

Ladies of the Neillsville Country club attended a guest day in Medford Wednesday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. John Winn and children of Cambridge, Minn., visited Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Winn last weekend.

 

Mrs. Carl Hoffmann, Mrs. Eric Kopp and Mrs. Leonard Drescher will again have charge of the kitchen and preparation of meals for 4-H club members and leaders during the fair.

 

John Zajac was moved to Memorial Hospital early Tuesday following a light heart attack.
