Hedler, Geraldine (Marriage - 12 August 1961)
Nuptial vows were exchanged Saturday in St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Thorp by Miss Geraldine Hedler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hedler of Thorp, and Alvin Spaete, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Spaete of Granton. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Fr. Herbert Hoffman.
Their attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester M. Hedler of Minneapolis, Minn. Ushers were Arlo Scholtz of Eau Claire, Paul Spaete of Granton, Gordon Spaete of Sturgeon Bay, and Joel Schmidt of Thorp.
Nuptial music was sung by Lillie Kaczmarek and Alice Ciolkosz.
Carrying rings on a white satin pillow was Thomas Bogumill. Peggy Hedler was flower girl.
The bride has been employed as a bank teller in a Thorp bank and Mr. Spaete operates a locker plant in Granton, where they will reside.
