Mr. Reese gave his daughter in marriage. She was attired in a floor-length gown of silk organza and rosepoint lace with a chapel train of rosepoint lace with side appliqués of the same enhanced with sequins and seed pearls.  A Basque bodice of rosepoint lace was enriched with seed pearls and sequins and was fashioned with a scooped neckline and capped sleeves. A blush veil was attached to a crown of aurora borealis. She carried a bridal bouquet of yellow sweetheart roses and white chrysanthemums.

Miss Kathleen Reese was her sister’s maid-of-honor, and Mrs. Gerald Stauffacher of Menomonie was her bridesmaid.  They were attired in Street length gowns of light blue silk organza styled with bell shaped skirts.  The bodices were fashioned with scooped necklines and capped sleeves.  They carried bouquets of yellow spider chrysanthemums and wheat.

James Doud of Black River Falls was bestman.  James Fritsche, Wisconsin Rapids, and Dan St. Arnault, Eau Claire, ushered.

Ellis Wall, accompanied by the children’s choir, sang "Ave Maria" and "Hail Queen of Heaven."
