Kiviko, Gerold Edwin (31 May 1941 - 3 August 1961)
Gerold Edwin Kiviko, 20, was killed instantly near Spencer when the truck he was driving August 3, for the Spencer Milk Products went out of control and hit a utility pole near Curtiss.
He was born in the Town of Hoard May 31, 1941, to Mr. and Mrs. William Kiviko. He lived on a farm near Withee most of his life, graduated from high school in 1960 and belonged to the National Guard for the last two years.
He is survived by his parents, five sisters, Mrs. Myron (Lois) Anderson, Mrs. Melvin (Joyce) Mohan, Colby, Mrs. Donald (Sally) Smart of Colby, Lila Jean and Karen, at home; and two brothers, John at home, and Roger of Port Edwards.
Funeral services were held August 5, in Owen with the Rev. A. Koblanay officiating. Burial was made in Riverside Cemetery, Withee.
