Janesville Settlement (24 August 1961)
Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Christie, long-time residents of Eaton Center, have moved into their home in Greenwood recently purchased from Arleigh Syth.
Mr. Hoppa of Glove combined oats several days last week on the Fred J. Barr farms.
George Fitzl of Greenwood combined oats for his brother, John Fitzl, and Clark Hatton last Monday.
Mrs. Fred Barr of Greenwood was a Sunday dinner guest of Mrs. Martha Meinholdt at the Harry Liebzeit home. In the afternoon, with former neighbors from Montana, she visited friends in Wausau.
Kenneth Horn of the Willard vicinity has been a patient at a Rochester hospital since August 8 with a back injury.
Mrs. Irene Holman and children of Watertown visited last week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Clintsman.
Mrs. Martha Meinholdt spent Sunday afternoon with Mrs. Emma Bostwick and the Clark Hattons.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Marg of Eau Claire were dinner guests of her mother, Mrs. Fred Barr in (missing words) .
