Lynn Township (24 August 1961)

The Men’s club of Granton Zion Lutheran Church and their families enjoyed a picnic at Sherwood Lake Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Hasz entertained at a 500 card party Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Riedel received high prizes and Mrs. Clarence Weichelt and Albert Hasz, second. A lunch was served by the hostess.

The following guest were present at dinner and supper Sunday at the Edwin Sternitzky home:  Mr. and Mrs. D. F. Geil, of California; Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Schlinsog and Mrs. Fala Gloff and daughter, Carol, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Grottke and daughter, Vicki, and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kalsow, Neillsville.

Mr. and Mrs. Martin Krause and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Riedel visited a Baraboo Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Moh of Iowa and Mrs. Dora Moh, Granton, visited Mr. and Mrs. Fred Grottke last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Johnson and family visited Mr. and Mrs. Jerald McArthur and family in Minnesota Sunday.
