During a 3:00 o’clock ceremony on Thursday afternoon Miss Leola Mary Larson became the bride of Robert Sigward Anderson. The Rev. Ralph Claybaugh, pastor of the Owen Congregational Church, performed the marriage rites at the home of the bride’s parents. Mr. and Mrs. Perry Larson, route 1, Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.) . The groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Sigward Anderson of route 1, Owen.
Miss Dorothy Anderson, sister of the groom, and Chester Larson, brother of the bride, were the attendants. For her role as maid of honor, Miss Anderson donned a blue ballerina length formal accented by red roses.
Miss Larson chose of her wedding gown a floor length lace and tulle over satin styled with long sleeves, scooped neckline and a full skirt of tiered lace and net. A lace and sequined headpiece held her fingertip veil. Red roses comprised the bridal bouquet.
Friends and rleatives were greeted by the bridal couple during a reception at the parental Larson home.
Mr. and Mrs. Anderson are both graduates of Owen-Withee High School. Their honeymoon will take them to Texas where the groom is stationed with the U.S. Army at Fort Hood. They will reside in Killeen, Texas.
