Zimbal, Shirley Marie (25 JAN 1958)
Miss Shirely Marie Zimbal, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Bowen, Owen, became the bride of Ronald Paul Krings, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Krings, Marshfield, at a ceremony performed Saturday, Jan. 25, 1958, in the Congregational Church at Owen. The Rev. Ralph Claybaugh officiated at the service. Audrey Laakso was organist and Mrs. Don Marshall sang "The Lord’s Prayer."
The bride wore a gown of lace over taffeta in ballerina length with the fitted bodice trimmed with sequins and pearls. Her headband, also fashioned of sequins and pearls, supported a short veil. She carried a bouquet of red roses and chrysanthemums.
Maid of honor was Miss Rose Mary Krings, sister of the groom. She carried white and lavender chrysanthemums in a basket. Miss Agnes Zalabsky, Owen, was bridesmaid.
Kenneth Thorson acted as best man and Arnold Krings Jr., brother of the groom, was groomsman.
Ushers were Dennis Bowen, Curtiss and Jim Krings.
The couple will make their home in Marshfield where Mr. Krings is employed by the Wenzel Farm Sausage Co.
