Nebel, Ida (16 June 1887 - 28 August 1961)
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Chili for Mrs. Henry Nebel, 74, who died Monday at her home in Chili. The Rev. L. L. McCormick officiated and burial was made in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Nebel, the former Ida Lindow, was born June 16, 1887, in the Town of Fremont. She received her education in the township schools and on December 20, 1906, she was married in Marshfield to Henry Nebel. The couple farmed in the Town of Fremont until 1949 and has resided in Chili since that time.
Mrs. Nebel served as a correspondent for the Riverside community in the Town of Fremont for the Clark County Press for many years.
She is survived by her husband and two daughters: Mrs. Russell (Frieda) Roehl, Loyal; and Mrs. Marion (Mildred) Lee, Chili; and the following brothers and sisters: George Lindow, Glendale, Ariz.; Walter Lindow, Phoenix, Ariz.; Edward Lindow, Chili; Mrs. E. J. Leonard, Scottsdale, Ariz.; and Mrs. Ed (Lillie) Schlinsog, Chili. Seven grandchildren also survive.
The Gilbertson Funeral Home in Granton was in charge of the service.
