Schutz, DeLora Mae (Marriage - 26 August 1961)

Wedding vows were repeated Saturday in a candle-light service by Miss DeLora Mae Schutz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert F. Schutz, Rt. 3, Neillsville, and DeWayne G. Huebner both of Rt. 3, Neillsville in Zion Lutheran Church in Granton. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. L. E. Schreiber before an altar adorned with baskets of pink and white gladioli.

Walking down the aisle with her father, who gave his daughter in marriage, the bride was attired in a full length gown of rosepoint lace, styled with back and front lace panels on the skirt and side inserts of lace over nylon net. The fitted bodice was accented with a neckline trimmed with sequins and pearls. A fingertip veil edged in scalloped rosepoint lace was attached to a crown of sequins and pearl.  She carried a cascade bouquet of pink roses entwined with green.

Miss Sandy Hansen, a friend, served as her maid-of-honor. A sister, Miss Charlotte Schutz, was her bridesmaid. They wore copen blue nylon, Chiffon over taffeta and carried colonial bouquets of pink gladioli.

Miss Debora Olson, as flower girl, was dressed similar to the bride and carried a miniature bouquet of pink gladioli.  Dennis Olson, ringbearer, bore the rings on a white taffeta pillow.

Mr. Huebner was attended by Alfred Drinsinger as best man.  His groomsman was Vernon Drescher.  Duane Anding and Robert Drescher ushered.

The wedding reception was held in the church parlors, which was attended by 140 guests.

Mrs. Huebner is a graduate of Neillsville High School and is employed in the courthouse.  Mr. Huebner was graduated from Granton High School and is engaged in farming and truck driving.

On their return from a wedding trip into Canada, they will reside near Neillsville.
