Trogner, Neil Joseph (11 March 1900 - 1 September 1961)
A requiem high mass was read Tuesday morning in St. Mary’s Catholic Church for Neil "Trogner, 61, who died September 12, shortly after suffering a heart attack. The Rev. Fr. Bernard T. Kelly officiated. Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
Neil Joseph Trogner, son of the late George and Nora (McMahan) Trogner, was born here March 11, 1900. He received his education in St. Mary’s Parochial School and lived in this area all his life. He was last employed by the city of Neillsville until he retired due to ill health. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
On September 12, 1952 he was married to the former Delores Staffon in Winona, Minn.
Mr. Trogner is survived by a son, George, an adopted daughter, Miss Diane Trogner, and a brother, John Trogner, all of Neillsville.
The Bergemann Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were: Ray Burr, Martin Feuerstein, Robert Hopfer, Harold Pischer, Newt Toptine and Joseph Wavrunek.
Mrs. Nick Sydorowicz and son of Milwaukee were here from away to attend the service.
