On Tuesday, Oct. 30th, 1928 in St. Hedwig's Church, a very pretty wedding took place, when Miss Nellie Szczech and John Rogus were united in the holy bonds of matrimony, Rev. F. Kulig officiating.

The flower girls were Sophia Rogus and Olive Szczech. Each wore white georgette dresses and carried a basket of red roses and lilacs. The bride wore a white silk satin lace dress, a white silk tulle veil, silver slippers, and carried a bouquet of white roses. The bridesmaids were Stella Nendza, Eva Szczech, Angeline Sojka of St. Paul, Mandy Sokolowski and Catherine Rogus. Each wore peach colored taffeta dresses, hair band and blond slippers, and carried a large bouquet containing ferns, roses, carnations and asters. The groom and his attendants, Walter Szczech, Peter Rogus of Chicago, Charles Kolodzeij, Henry Balicki, and Stanley Bolinak wore dark blue suits.

A large reception was held at the home of the bride's mother in the town of Reseburg in the afternoon and evening. The young couple intend to go on a honeymoon trip to Niagara Falls and later reside on the groom's farm in the town of Reseburg. Best wishes for a long and prosperous life from all friends and relatives.
